Microsoft Office Professional 2010 has worked as expected until recently when it has stopped updating. The product does not come with a CD or DVD but when I had trouble with it the Microsoft technician had a DVD sent to me. Unfortunately the updating problem can’t be fixed without setting if back to its basic defaults and then reinstalling all of the programs and that is unacceptable to me at present. So, the updating problem is not fixable. I think the updating problem occurred because there was a power outage during when it was updating that damaged the ability to update. I think this is short sighted on the part of Microsoft. The Windows program should be separate from the installed software, data and personal profile, so that it can be deleted and reinstalled at any time without affecting your programs installed, your personal settings or your personal data. This is how the Mozilla browser and email clients is constructed. Those programs can be uninstalled and reinstalled at any time without affecting your personal data or profile.

Ouf, heureusement qu’une version 2010 est mieux qu’une version 2007 ! J’apprécie particulièrement la gestion de l’historique des fichiers ouverts, avec les répertoires récemment accédés, les fichiers favoris groupés en haut, bien mieux qu’avec Office 2007 où ils glissaient en fin de liste si on ouvre trop de fichiers «non favoris» entre-temps.
Quelques petits bugs d’Excel 2007 (zones dates des fichiers Dbase) n’existent plus sous Excel 2010.
Petit défaut d’affichage dans les miniatures de la liste à gauche dans Powerpoint, toujours pas corrigé malgré les mises à jour Office que je vérifie régulièrement. Ou alors c’est un problème lié au PC.
En tous cas, avoir Office est une obligation, et elle n’est pas déplaisante.

Perfect for my set up. I needed to upgrade from Office 2000 with a suite compatible with Windows 7 and Windows XP. The 2013 version does not work with XP so I decided to «go backwards» and am thrilled with the result. The ribbon takes a bit of getting used to but the programmes are not a million miles removed from their earlier versions and the tutorials are excellent and well worth taking the time to work through.
The supplier was in express mode and the package arrived by next day delivery at no extra cost above normal delivery charge.

Fonctionne bien théoriquement car impossible d’installer l’option Français hormis le dictionnaire. Donc je vais continuer à utiliser Open Office qui lui a trois les onglets et le dictionnaire dans toutes les langues.
Dommage car Microsoft démontre que seul la monnaie l’intéresse et qu’il n’est pas philanthrope.
